My Experience & Training

I started to practice as a psychotherapist in 2004 and have worked in private practice, the NHS, schools and the voluntary sector.
I initially trained in Counselling, before training at Metanoia Institute in London where I gained an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. Since then I have also had training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Solutions Focused Therapy and working with Young People. I then went on to gain a Diploma in Supervision, and work as a clinical supervisor of other therapists.
I am registered by UKCP, one of the leading professional bodies for Psychotherapists and Counsellors in the UK. I am also a member of BACP, the other main professional body for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I undertake a programme of Continuous Professional Development which helps keep me in touch with new thinking and trends and enhances my practice as a psychotherapist. I have regular clinical supervision.
